LIFE ALERT - IT'S NOT A WONDERFUL THING

Okay folks, I saw this commecial one too many times...
First of all the voice of that "caller" is horrible. Chalk screeching time. Mom pressing a button on a piece of technology is not a wonderful thing in my opinion. What would be a wonderful thing is if the daughter loved the mother enough to live with her, the way we used to in this County.
When I was a boy parents still lived with their children. As anti-christian ideas grew in America, so did our care for elderly parents. The idea that, "I don't want to be a burden," is an anti-christian response. The Bible teaches that parents raise their children, then when parents get old, they are either taken care of by children or grandchildren.
When parents are having a problem, they need their family, not a cold piece of technology.
While I'm sharing about commercials, gotta get in a drug commercial.
According to the commercial, there is one reason to take Lyrica, and a bunch of reasons why you shouldn't take it. Does it matter? The indoctrinated masses in this Country that don't think for themselves will run to the doctor and ask if they need this drug.
So, if you go to the doctor to ask about this drug, are you also going to ask if you need suicidal thoughts or actions, worse depression. What about trouble breathing? You sure need that, don't you? And what will they do if you get swelling of hands and feet? Probably give you a diuretic, and then you have to watch out for a new set of side effects.
It's really exciting when drug commercials get to "death" as a possible side effect. But the mindnumbed robotic people will probably go to a doctor and ask, "do I need that?"
Come on people, start thinking for yourself. We have libraries loaded with books with lots of information. We have the internet which has a lot information on various subjects.
If you want to be protected from bad food and bad drugs, you have to do that yourself, because the FDA isn't.
