With December 25th 9 days out now, you may be wondering, "Will I see snow or rain for the day?". Well, since we are still too far out, no weather model can accurately predict which way the storm will go and how much precipitation falls for each location. However, we have a general consensus of how the pattern may set up.
Scenario #1- Coldest air is locked up in the Central and Upper Plains while the East and West coast gets into above-average temperatures, due to the Southeast Ridge.
Scenario #2- Coldest air spills more south, leading to most of the country below average. The Southeast and West Coast still end up with above-average temperatures. NEXT UPDATE: TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY.
