What if God is doing this? Romans 1.18, the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. You might say , "but this is a church." Scripture says judgment begins at the house of God. The church in the USA is very idolatrous. According to the Old Testament God raised up armies to punish Israel and Judah for their idolatry. Do USA churches believe they are immune to the wrath of God? They're not.
Romans 1.18, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness." ASV.
1 Peter 4.17, "For the time is come for judgment to begin at the house of God: and if it begin first at us, what shall be the end of them that obey not the gospel of God?" ASV.
1 John 5.21, "My little children, guard yourselves from idols." ASV
The churches in the United States ignore Biblical warnings, so it is not surprising that God would allow a gunman to shoot up a church and kill people.
