Dear 20th Century Fox,
On behalf of the fans of Last Man Standing, I ask that you start up production of the show again. It's my understanding that there are scripts for several season 7 episodes, and they are ready for production. If that is true, why won't you do it? And please don't give the excuse that no network will pick it up. You don't need a network. You can release it in syndication. There have been shows that were very successful in syndication. Do you remember Star Trek The Next Generation?
There are many fans that are missing the show. I saw a letter from one man who is bed-ridden who really misses the show. I've seen many comments on the internet from lonely people who no longer have that one time per week where they can laugh and feel good. And there are those that miss the show simply because it is a good show, not like most of the garbage on TV. Do you care about those people, or does money always have to be the determining factor in everything? Well, if you show you care about these people, I believe the money will be there. I'm sure you've heard the Biblical concept, "What you sow you will reap." Well, I am asking for you to sow compassion, then you will reap the money you need.
The ABC cancellation has stirred a lot of publicity for the show. I don't have to tell you the value of publicity. And you didn't have to pay a thing for it. No PR firm could have done any better. You'd be stupid not to take advantage of the opportunity that has been presented to you.
You are hurting a lot of people by not continuing production. If you have a conscience, does that not bother you?
There are several Last Man Standing Facebook groups. Go look at the comments for yourself. Then you can see the hurt for yourself. You don't have to take my word for it. And they are very serious about boycotting ABC, and their advertisers. In fact there is a Facebook group for that very purpose.
You could come out of this looking very good in the eyes of Last Man Standing fans.
Please consider what I have told you.
Thank you for your time.
