LAST MAN STANDING

I am not into sitcoms, but I must admit Last Man Standing is as funny as Mr. Ed and ALF. As a result, it has become one of my favorite TV shows. I just watched, "Eve's Breakup." I know breaking up is hard to do, but this episode still has me laughing an hour and half after I watched it
Now, I watch it in syndication. I never watched it on ABC. I really don't watch Network programing, because American television is horrible. When they do get a decent show, it doesn't last. ABC canceled "Last Man Standing." No big deal for me since I don't watch ABC. But the network cited budgetary problems. But what is the real reason?
Money problems? The same thing CBS said about "Supergirl." And it was no more true then as it is now. The first season of Supergirl was a decent show, and even had some conservative leanings. We can't have that, now can we? So, instead of canceling, they moved it to the CW, owned jointly by CBS and Warner Brothers who produces Supergirl. When they did that, it became one of the trashiest shows on TV.
The same thing can't happen with Last Man Standing because ABC does not co-own a network with FOX. And with Tim Allen being the star, it would not become trashy TV. And who knows why FOX won't pick it up. Or why won't they keep it going in syndication which is where the money really is. Star Trek The Next Generation was totally syndicated, and they did alright.
So there are money issues. Networks want cheap TV shows, and that is what we are getting. Trashy, cheap TV. The best TV shows are on networks like MeTV, H&I, GetTV, etc. Since the networks refuse to give us good TV shows, what else can we do? We can move to Canada, because Canada has good TV, like Murdoch Mysteries. But, I heard a rumor that Canada is going to build a wall on their southern border to keep Americans out. So much for that idea.
If I had the money, I would put on a network and Last Man Standing would have a prominent place in the lineup. It's obvious the major networks in the United States don't care what we the people like. As I said before, Hollywood lost the ability to make good TV. And when they do once in a while stumble on a good show, they either get rid of it, or otherwise ruin it.
REMEMBER, AT ABC, CBS, NBC, AND FOX, NO CONSERVATIVE PROGRAMING ALLOWED
