A rollover crash in South Lebanon left one man pinned beneath a truck Wednesday afternoon.
The man, whose name was not disclosed by police, was removed from the wreckage by emergency workers, and was then transported via ambulance to Hershey Medical Center, according to police.
Emergency personnel worked for around 15 minutes to free the man from the wreckage of the truck, which had been towing a piece of farm equipment at the time of the crash.
The three-vehicle crash, which involved the truck, an SUV and a car, occurred around 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of Schaeffer Road and State Drive.
Wilmer Garcia was behind the wheel of the car when the crash occurred.
“The red Jeep was coming eastbound on Schaeffer, and the truck was westbound,” Garcia said. “The Jeep tried to turn onto State before the truck got to the intersection.”
The truck struck the SUV, and the SUV struck Garcia’s car, according to Garcia. The truck, which had its driver and a passenger inside the cab, rolled onto its side.
South Lebanon police on the scene, after conducting an investigation, confirmed Garcia’s description of the incident.
The driver of the truck suffered some minor injuries, but refused treatment on the scene, police said. The passenger was pinned under the vehicle.
There were two occupants in the SUV, their names were not disclosed, and both of them were transported to a local hospital – police said they guessed it was WellSpan Good Samaritan, but were not certain.
Schaeffer Road was shut down at the scene of the crash for several hours, as was State Drive at Boose Drive for the same duration.
Schaefferstown, Cornwall, Mount Gretna and Hebron fire companies, fire police and the First Aid and Safety Patrol assisted police on scene.

The man pinned under the truck was a friend of mine. Please put him in your prayers. I won't release the name until it is made public. Or, if you contact me in a private communication.
Thank you for your prayers.
