Who is your favorite Star Trek captain, that is beyond Jeffrey Hunter as Pike or William Shatner as Kirk? Mine has to be Kate Mulgrew as Captain Janeway. She had a Pike or Kirk air about her. And yet she left her femininity show through once in a while. I also credit her with saying my all time favorite line in any Star Trek series. "Tell Neelix to hold off on the beatle stew." And the way Kate said it was just perfect. No one could have said it any better.
Kate Mulgrew was certainly good at the part of Captain Janeway. If I had to choose a best supporting actor on Voyager, it would have to be the Doctor. Robert Picardo was so good in that role. And the guy was funny.
