...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...
The National Weather Service in STATE COLLEGE has issued a Winter Storm Watch...which is in effect from Wednesday evening through Thursday morning.
* LOCATIONS...Central and Southern Mountains and the Susquehanna Valley.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 to 8 inches.
* TIMING...Snow will begin over the central mountains early Wednesday evening. Rain and snow will begin early Wednesday evening over the Lower Susquehanna Valley, with a changeover to all snow between 10 pm and 2 am. A period of heavy snow is likely late evening into the overnight.
* IMPACTS...The heavy snow will create snow covered roads and produce scattered power outages.
