Of course considering CMT is owned by MTV I guess it makes sense. They don't know a thing about real Country music. If they did they would have picked Kitty Wells, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn or Connie Smith.
George Strait and Alan Jackson did a song called, "Murder on Music Row."
Well George and Alan, the evidence is plain, these are the guilty people. Picking Shania Twain to be the first female to win this award above real Country artists is evidence enough. And you're right Alan, they should hang. I sure hope you guys aren't going to that awards show. No true Country artist should attend. Isn't it time these murderers of Country Music are stood up to?
I hope some day Country Frame of Mind Promotions will have our own awards show. And we will give our Lifetime Achievement Award to a real Country artist. If a male, Charley Pride. If a female, one of the four I mentioned above.
