The last 2 episodes of the first season airs tonight on the CW, and every Christian should watch them. It begins at 8 PM Eastern. If you watch them, you might see why I said Christians should love Supergirl. kingdomofchrist.freeforums.net/thread/28/christians-love-supergirl
In that article I said, "Especially in the last episode Supergirl's weapon of choice was a message of hope. Then she sacrificed herself for her friends, although she was rescued by her adoptive sister. In that episode, Supergirl said that saving the planet was what she was sent to do. That episode showed Christianity in a nutshell."
I explain the Christian analogy further in the article linked above. That article was written when the future of the show was uncertain. CBS greed almost caused the cancellation of the show. But the Supergirl fans made a big issue out of it. So, instead of cancellation, they moved the show to the CW, which CBS is in partnership with Warner Brothers.
In the new season, Superman appears from time to time. The President of the United States will be played by Lynda Carter. Of course in real life I would not want her to be President. She is just as liberal as Hillary Clinton. "Television’s famous “Wonder Woman” says she drew inspiration for a new role from Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton." www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/sep/30/lynda-carter-iconic-wonder-woman-says-supergirl-pa/
Want to know what a Hillary Clinton Presidency would be like without electing her, watch Supergirl this season. Who knows, perhaps President Wonder Woman will pick Hillary as her Secretary of State. Personally I would have rather seen Cat Grant run for President and win. If you watched the show, you would have found Cat Grant to be a no non-sense conservative. Maybe that's the reason her role has been downgraded. She won't be on every show. It will just be a recurring role. That's a shame. I really liked her role. But then Hollywood is not a bastion of conservatism. The liberals probably didn't like her role.
Obviously there will be changes this season, but I hope they don't destroy the message of hope and self-sacrifice that was prevalent in the first season.
