CHRISTIAN WOMEN - REALLY?

Carrie Underwood claims to be a Christian...
Obviously she forgot about 1 Timothy 2.9 which states women are to wear modest and decent clothing. The outfit she wears in the opening of Sunday Night Football this year is not very modest and decent.

And what about her husband? What Christian husband would allow his wife to flaunt her body like this, just to titillate men. Of course, there are rumors that the two are splitting. Not surprising since they do not have a Christ centered marriage. They have a form of godliness, but their hearts are far from Him.
And what about Britney Spears? She has claimed to be a Christian. Is this the way a Christian woman should be dressed?
Britney Spears was raised in a Baptist Church, and sang Christian songs as a little girl. Since then she has been various places religiously.
Recently she shared this on Twitter...
And this...
Is she now pretending to be a Christian again? If the New Testament was written today, somewhere it might say, "Even the devil can tweet Scripture." But, I sincerely hope this is a beginning for Britney to repent and turn to God. I have been praying for that for a long time. But, so far her life is not paralleling her words.
But they are not the only ones. There are many so called Christian girls and women that do the same thing, perhaps not to the extent, or with the glitz and glamour, but they still flaunt their bodies. And the only reason to do that is to titilate men.
Now this is what I call modest dress....
You see, women can look nice without flaunting themselves. And they are more respectable.
If only women can hear the truth from the pulpits of the United States. But churches don't seem to care, and long as they can fill their auditoriums, and get more money in the collection plate. There is no such thing as church discipline anymore except in conservative churches like Amish and Mennonite.
I guess it's fortunate I'm getting old, and my libido is not near as strong as it once was. It's not dead, so sometimes it is bothersome. But, at least I can control it.
Morality in America is not too good. And the way women dress sure doesn't help matters.
