MURDERERS WITH A BADGE by Tom Lineaweaver Article: Injured deer walks into emergency room of New York hospitalThe article tells of an injured deer, possibly hit by a car, walking into an Emergency Room. I don't know if the deer actually knew what it was doing, but it went to the right place. It went to a place where the injured go for help. What happened has literally made me cry. They didn't help the deer. The police took it outside and killed it. Folks, is killing becoming the answer to police for everything? If so, then they are the most dangerous people in our Country today. They wear a badge and are supposedly there to "protect and serve." Is this how they "protect and serve"? Injured deer looking for help, killed. Driver with burned out taillight, killed. Teen driver flashing lights, killed. Folks, I believe it's time to take guns away from police. We don't need that kind of protecting and serving. And, if the 2nd Amendment was upheld, we don't need police at all. We can protect ourselves. Some time ago, someone tried to sell me on the idea of community policing. Well, I'm sold. Communities can police themselves. We don't need murderers with a badge to do it. If we still need traffic cops, fine. But they must not have guns. The more I see what police are becoming, the more I believe we should disband all police departments. We don't need them. They have become organized crime with a badge. That deer was not a mean and vicious lion. It was just a deer looking for help.

Well, 99% of the criminals I've known have worn badges, and sadly this isn't an exaggeration. I've seen them for what they truly are, liars and thieves, with a desire to murder. I've watched as too many have been found to be rapists, child molesters, and worse.
With certainty, arm the people and disarm the police would be the right action, as they have no respect for laws or people from what I've seen. That being said, their bullying tactics (they love to pick on children) should not be tolerated, and without their guns I'm sure much of that would stop. Personally, I believe in the legalization of cop killing--which shouldn't worry good cops (if you believe in them, the Easter Bunny, Santa...). I'd have been well within my constitutional rights to have planted over 30 officers to date, literally put them down. Their gang tactics and disregard for fellow human beings is insufferable. I can state a myriad of reasons why this has become the way it has; however, you've hit on the solution--disarm them.
Two communities within driving distance of where I live have made public statements, 'We have looked to find the criminals and we have found them, they were employed by us' (paraphrased), and they are right--no sooner than the city closed the door to them (eliminated their police force), than crime dropped significantly. It was the cop that sold the kids in High School their drugs when I was growing up (recycled), and the whole force was running a meth lab in the neighboring town. I could easily continue with stories of their crimes against the peoples, and seeing that the people are armed to confront them would be a step in the right direction.
It truly has become a law stupid nation.

It is quite obvious they are violating the Constitutional rights of the people they abuse and murder. line2016.freeforums.net/thread/309/murderers-badge

Yes, many police violate the rights of people everyday and the government rules and regulations... they are to be our protectors, but instead many have become our enemies and the people must now protect themselves against the police.
However, I don't think their weapons should be taken from them... those officers who do wrong should be punished just as if they are criminals who comment a crime... and not protected by their superior officer (police chief)...jmo

In fact, didn't the founders give the right to bear arms so that we can defend ourselves against a tyrannical government if needed? How does this discussion go in light of what happened this week in Oregon?
