SECESSION: A NEW BEGINNING

This has been on my mind lately, with all the talk of Texas, and other States potentially seceding from the United States, I thought that maybe all 50 States could secede. And maybe that is the best solution to deal with all the problems that come from that evil and wicked Government in Washington DC. So we have 50 new free and independent Nations charting their own course. This would totally end the United States of America.
All 50 new nations then can form their own government as they see fit. No longer would we be electing a President of the United States. Nor would we be electing U.S. Senators or Representatives. All Supreme Court decisions would be null and void, as would be the Constitution. All laws, the tax code; everything would be gone. The United States of America would be history.
Yes, I know there would be problems with that especially for smaller States like Rhode Island and Delaware. Therefore I propose that we immediately form an alliance of all 50 new nations. We can call it, United Alliance of America. It would be a treaty organization where all 50 Nations would be united by treaty. Part of that treaty would include a provision that should one member Nation be attacked all other member nations would come to it's aid. It would include other provisions the Alliance would see fit.
Each member Nation would send one delegate to the Alliance to represent the member Nations. Those delegates would then choose their officers. Those officers would be there to serve the Alliance not lord it over the Alliance.
The Alliance can adapt portions of the US Government to serve the Alliance. The Military, for example. Instead of the US Military, it will be the UA Military. We might want UA Aviation Control. But, Governance within the member Nations will remain in those free and independent Nations. The Alliance would not be a Governing body, but a serving body.
Now, where do you think I got this idea? The more I study the founding of the United States of America, the more I believe that is what the founders wanted. If you read the Declaration of Independence, you will see this in the last paragraph, "That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do."

Do you see what I see? Each State had the right to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, etc. What changed that? The Articles of Confederation.

Prior to the Articles of Confederation being ratified on March 1, 1781, the Continental Congress was in power, if you can call it that. Se about it here:

The very first sentence in the article about the Continental Congress is, "The Continental Congress was the governing body by which the American colonial governments coordinated their resistance to British rule during the first two years of the American Revolution." What this tells me is that the 13 colonies had their own militias, or military. The Continental Congress became the mechanism by which the colonies coordinated their resistance to British rule.
The article goes on to say, "The Congress first met in Philadelphia on September 5, 1774, with delegates from each of the 13 colonies except Georgia." Notice, the Colonies had delegates in the Continental Congress. Not Senators or Representatives, nor a President, at least not like the ones we've had under the US Constitution. And no Supreme Court. So, you see, those 13 colonies, at least for a time were truly Free and Independent. They had their own military, their own economies, etc. Each colony probably had their own currency. So, why can't we do that again?
