MEET CHRISTIANS - OH REALLY?
by Tom Lineaweaver I'm a member at meetchristians.com I don't know how long. I probably be banned after this. But, I have had enough of phony-baloney Christians.
I posted an article called, "Trump Supporters." Quite frankly I believe Trump supporters are the most stupid people in the universe. I didn't say that. You can see it here: www.meetchristians.com/php/fr_view_thread.php?TID=1499768&F=2&rp=97&p=1
If that doesn't work, just go to meetchristians.com, select the tour, go to "General Discussion," and look for the article. The article is based on Donald Trump's severe lack of morality, and that Trump supporters just don't care. Go through the topic and see who is the first to hurl personal insults.
While these people claim to be Christians, their unloving attutude towards me becomes apparent. Of course, it's certainly not every member. Most don't go into the forums, or very seldom. But those that do, about half, or so it seems, are Trump supporters. And they totally ignore the moral issues.
Here's the first paragraph of the article...
These are professing Christians and these moral issues are not important. All they care about is defeating Hillary Clinton on November 8th. These people need to repent. They are without God in their lives, and if they don't repent, they will be without God for eternity. Jesus said not everyone the says, "Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of heaven.

Sadly at this time of year every four years many Christians worship a candidate and in doing so they forget their worship should only belong to God. Would be great if two people on opposite sides could have a discussion and disagree with out all the bashing, belittling and name calling I read in your Trump supporters thread but those things happen because those supporting Trump have to believe they've put their saddle on the right horse. When they're horse doesn't win they have egg on their face but refuse to admit they were wrong for bashing, belittling and name calling. Saw such behavior both times President Obama ran. Why do some Christians need whomever's running for office to be their savior when Jesus should be the only Lord and Savior they put their hope and trust in?

Someone at Meet Christians said "You run a competing website" along with other nonsense not worth repeating. That is another false claim against you and your site because there is no bashing or bullying here. There's no clique or group here making one wish they had not shared an opposite thought or view. Stand your site against that site and your site is light and that site is darkness. Long time members will never return to Meet Christians for the simple fact the site has rules that are not enforced and the school yard nonsense is allowed by the owner. Keep doing what you're doing Tom because God will reward you for not repaying evil for evil. Thank you for creating a safe haven for those that have been bashed and bullied by Christians! Scripture says "If God is for us who can be against us", my answer to that scripture is God is always for those that do things that glorify His name and the only ones against us that do His work are those who claim to be Christian while they allow themselves to do the devil's work. Thank you Tom for not being a MC Christian!

A lot of people don't participate on websites other than Facebook and Twitter and when one only has a phone to stay in touch with the online world they can't participate on websites. Here I don't find myself concerned with being bashed, bullied or threatened! At Meet Christians those things were a constant concern which the website owner aka Admin did nothing about because those doing the bashing, bullying and threatening are friends of his. Those friends are the ones that's destroyed that website and it's no longer the Christian website that Tim (creator/owner) created it to be. One male member said in email he stays out of loyalty to Tim and it only costs $10 for the current Admin to run Meet Christians. That has me wondering where the money went that's been donated through the years. I know I'll never donate again when such actions and behaviors are allowed by those who claim to be Christian! |
